Materials & Construction

We manufacture Muff Waders using 12 oz cotton canvas that’s both breathable and tough enough for outdoor use. The insulated chest pockets feature closed-cell foam padding wrapped in a waterproof nylon liner, creating a barrier that keeps cold in and heat out for up to three hours.
Each pocket measures 4.5 inches deep and 3 inches in diameter, sized perfectly for standard beer cans and most bottles. Triple-stitched seams reinforce high-stress areas at the pocket openings and shoulder straps, while bartack reinforcements at the buckle attachment points prevent fabric tearing under weight. The interior moisture barrier is heat-sealed to prevent condensation from your cold drinks from dampening your shirt underneath.
Sizing & Fit Guide

Our beer cooler overalls feature fully adjustable metal buckle straps that accommodate chest measurements from 36 to 52 inches. The bib front measures 11 inches tall and 13 inches wide, providing ample coverage without restricting movement when you bend or reach.
For the best fit, we recommend measuring around the fullest part of your chest while wearing a light shirt. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit for layering over hoodies, size up one adjustment notch. The overalls are designed to sit comfortably over your shoulders without digging in, even when both pockets are loaded with full beverages.
Care Instructions

Washing Your Muff Waders
Machine wash your beer cooler overalls in cold water on a gentle cycle. We recommend removing any beverages first and turning the overalls inside out to protect the outer canvas. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach, which can weaken the canvas fibers and damage the insulation.
Drying & Storage
Tumble dry on low heat or line dry in a shaded area. High heat can cause the foam insulation to deteriorate and the canvas to shrink. Store your overalls hanging or folded in a dry place. If you’ve been using them in humid conditions, allow them to air dry completely before storage to prevent mildew on the fabric.

Common Questions About Muff Waders
The foam insulation and waterproof liner combination keeps beverages cold for approximately three hours in moderate outdoor temperatures (70-80°F). In cooler conditions or shade, you can expect even longer cooling performance.
For maximum cold retention, we recommend pre-chilling your drinks in a refrigerator or cooler before placing them in the Muff Waders pockets. Starting with ice-cold beverages can extend the cooling time to four hours or more.
Yes, the adjustable metal buckle straps extend to accommodate layering over light jackets, hoodies, or thick flannel shirts. The strap system provides approximately 16 inches of total adjustment range, allowing the overalls to fit comfortably over additional clothing layers.
For winter use, many customers wear Muff Waders over insulated work jackets without any binding or discomfort. Just adjust the straps to a looser setting before buckling them in place.
The insulated pockets accommodate both standard 12 oz cans and most 12 oz glass bottles. The 4.5-inch depth and 3-inch diameter opening fits regular beer bottles, soda bottles, and even some slim 16 oz cans.
Wider bottles like some craft beer formats may fit snugly but still work. The elastic top edge of each pocket stretches slightly to accommodate different bottle neck widths while maintaining insulation contact around the beverage.
Yes, you can machine wash your beer cooler overalls in cold water on a gentle cycle. We build them with colorfast canvas and heat-sealed insulation that won’t degrade in the wash.
Turn the overalls inside out before washing to protect the outer fabric, and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid high heat settings, which can cause the canvas to shrink and may damage the foam insulation over time. Air drying is also an excellent option.
Muff Waders fit chest measurements from 36 to 52 inches thanks to the fully adjustable shoulder straps. To find your size, measure around the fullest part of your chest while wearing a light shirt.
The one-size-adjustable design means you don’t need to worry about selecting a specific size at checkout. Simply adjust the metal buckles to your preferred fit when the overalls arrive. Most customers can dial in a comfortable fit within seconds.
We stand behind the quality of our beer cooler overalls with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This covers issues like strap breakage, seam failure, or insulation deterioration under normal use.
The warranty does not cover damage from improper care, excessive wear, or modifications. If you experience any defect within the first year, contact our customer service team with your order number and photos of the issue for a replacement or refund.
While the 12 oz cotton canvas is naturally more flame-resistant than synthetic fabrics, Muff Waders are not fireproof and should not be considered protective equipment around open flames or high heat sources.
Many customers do wear them while grilling at a safe distance, but we recommend exercising the same caution you would with any cotton clothing. Keep beverages away from direct heat, and never lean over flames or hot surfaces while wearing the overalls.
